Marina Grande and the sea crossing
Capri is an island: a road journey from Naples Capodichino or a mainland railway station does not reach Capri directly. Arrange the transfer to the port, sea crossing and any taxi after disembarking at Marina Grande separately. Provide the shipping company and vessel arrival, checking updates and the meeting point without assuming a ferry ticket is included in the taxi request.
Capri centre and the funicular
The funicular links Marina Grande with Capri centre and is a separate service from a taxi. If choosing it, check operation and tickets with the operator and agree where any onward road transfer begins. Always ask your accommodation for the vehicle-accessible point and any final walk: a taxi cannot automatically reach every entrance in the town centre.
Anacapri and Piazza Vittoria
Anacapri is a different destination from Capri centre: Piazza Vittoria is a reference for reaching the Monte Solaro chairlift area. Specify whether you want this area or a hotel at another address. The chairlift and ascent to the mountain are not part of the road journey; check access and return arrangements separately before organising your collection.
Prepare the return journey too
For a return, prepare a separate journey description instead of simply reversing pickup and destination. After a visit you may be in a different street, while an airport departure needs the departing flight reference. Keep your accommodation address, travel details and confirmed meeting instructions on your phone. If your plans or passenger numbers change, update the information before travelling: an additional stop and extra luggage may require different arrangements from the outward journey.

Capri has no national railway station. Napoli Centrale is on the mainland: arrange the journey to the port, crossing and island transfer separately. Capri’s funicular stations belong to a different service, not an arriving train from Naples.

Naples Capodichino (NAP) is on the mainland. An airport taxi may cover the road section to the agreed port, followed by a sea crossing and a possible island taxi. Check operator, port and disembarkation; no crossing or connection is automatically included or guaranteed by the road transfer request.
